FAQ

Do you require payment up front to schedule?

Yes I do. I require $500 up front as a non-refundable retainer fee, along with a signed wedding contract to secure your wedding day coverage. The retainer fee comes off of your total balance, and is not an additional fee. Wedding dates are not held until the non-refundable retainer fee has been paid.

Where are you based and do you travel?

I am based in Madisonville, Kentucky and I do travel! I love to travel and shoot in new places. A travel fee will apply if your wedding is located over one hour from Madisonville, KY. However, it is a small fee based on distance. If your wedding is three or more hours from my location, lodging fees will also apply. I will quote all of this for you ahead of time so that there are never any surprises.

When will we get our wedding photos?

You will receive an online gallery with all of your edited photos within an estimate of 16 weeks of your wedding date. You can view and download your photos from there. It is super easy, and I am always around to help if you need help with downloading.

Do you limit images, and how many images can we expect to receive?

I do not limit the images I give back. I want you to have all the best moments from your day! Every wedding is different as far as total number of images they receive back, however a good average is typically 50-100 per hour. Again that is an average, and every wedding is different!

What payment methods do you accept?

I accept cash as well as all major debit and credit cards.

Can we make payments on our wedding balance?

Once the initial $500 non-refundable retainer fee has been paid you are welcome to make payments on your remaining wedding balance, or pay it off in a lump sum. The entire wedding balance must be paid in full 30 days prior to the wedding date.

Will there be a second shooter?

Yes. A second shooter is provided at no additional fee. If you would like three or more shooters for your day, additional shooters may be added on at the rate of $500 per additional photographer.

Do I have to order prints through you?

No you do not. I provide every client with a print release at no additional fee so you may print your photos wherever you choose.

Do you offer elopement coverage?

Yes I do. Pricing on elopement coverage will vary depending on the coverage you are looking for, if there is travel involved, etc. Please contact me for a custom quote.

Do you provide a CD or USB?

I do not provide a CD or USB of your images. Instead I deliver your images via an online gallery. I will send you a link to your gallery as soon as your images are finished and from there you may view and download them. It is super simple and much more convenient.

Can we add more wedding coverage?

Absolutely! You may add on additional coverage for your wedding at the rate of $175/hr after 8 hours.

Do you give out unedited/RAW images?

No I do not. All of the images you receive back are fully edited and retouched to perfection!

Can we substitute another type of session in place of the included complimentary engagement session?

I do not offer other session substitutions in place of the complimentary engagement session. However you are welcome to book other sessions separately from your wedding package at my regular session rate(s).

If we do not want the engagement session, does it change the package price?

No, it does not. The engagement session that is offered with the wedding package is complimentary, and is offered to you at no additional cost. Therefore if you do not choose to use it, it has no monetary value. I HIGHLY recommend taking advantage of it though! It is a great opportunity to work together prior to the wedding day. It also helps ease any nervousness couples may have about taking/posing for photos, and makes them feel much more comfortable and at ease on the big day!

Do you offer other editing styles?

No I do not. I am a "dark & moody" photographer, so all of my photos are edited in that style. This keeps my work consistent, as well as lets my clients have an idea of what to expect from me as far as final product.
